Planibel Glass
Colored planibles are transparent glass colored in mass (available colors: bronze, gray, dark gray, green, azure blue and dark blue.)
Colored Planibel is a glass that absorbs a large amount of solar energy, thus preventing an excessive flow of energy into the room. The intensity of the color is affected by the thickness of the glass, which is why it is recommended to use the same thickness of glass when glazing one area.
The basic properties of color planibel are:
- special color effect both on the outside and on the inside
- weak light reflection
- protection from solar radiation through absorption
Colored planibles can be: hardened, enamelled, laminated, bent and of course used in the production of insulating glass. If colored planibles are made in iso glass, high energy absorption can cause differences in the temperature of the glass, and therefore it is necessary to temper the glass to protect against thermal shock.
